Behaviors; Sunshine and marigolds are the first two things to come to mind for most when talking or describing the rather rambunctious Caroline. With a rather bubbly attitude in general, she is often found smiling and laughing even in the bleakest of times, being optimistic to the core though inside, within her mind, she is often a cynic, mocking the words of hope and faith always spurting from her lips.
A push over since childhood, Caroline often avoids confrontation by backing down even when she is indeed right within her actions mostly because she hates to be a disappointment or problem. Caroline often has a problem of putting her own needs and her own life behind her to help those around her because she under-values herself. To say she isn't aware of her own kindness and sweet nature would be an understatement, within Caroline's own mind, she may as well be the devil himself.
Though sheltered and hardly worldly, Caroline is a quick learner and a rather good person to have when in crisis. She is very level headed, quick upon her toes and doesn't allow panic to grip her most of the time. This can often be connected to her fear of crying, having been one since birth to cry little to never, often bottling up and suppressing her own feelings from being ashamed of them, even if they aren't of a dirty or detrimental nature. Anger, rage, sadness - these are all emotions in which no one truly gets to see out of her often if ever.
 When considering her sense of humor, it often varies though she prefers the comedy stiles of George Carlin & Eddie Izzard. If she is over tired, everything around her can indeed be giggle worthy however when wide awake, jokes hardly make her laugh though she generously sport a smile and a small 'ha' to someone to make them feel better.
History; The daughter of a US government owned man and his wife, Caroline's life has been nothing ordinary. A twin and the second youngest of six children (all boys besides the twin), she grew up being the really only girlie-girl around. Not that she minded. A princess in nature, Caroline learned at a young age that a cute smile or a sad pout could get her almost anything she ever wanted and she liked it that way.
Childhood was full of moving and happiness. Caroline didn't want for much and her family was always there. Though very different from her twin sister Rosalynn, Caroline bonded with her tightly. That bond to this day is significant in her life. As for her brothers? While not close to many of them, she still sees Michael whenever she can. Michael and his two children Allen and Connor (twins, what a shocker), are very dear to her. She loves being an aunt and wouldn't give it up for the world.
When it comes to her teen years? Well that's something she doesn't talk of often. She of course was prom queen twice, a cheerleader, and on the student government but what happened outside of school is hard on her still. Between the death of her brother Jonathan and the suicide of her mother, well Caroline simply doesn't have fond memories of the time. Yes she was popular and cute but in reality she was sad and heart broken. She still to this day deals with abandonment issues from her mother and her father during those times.
The first two years of college easily can be considered uneventful. From classes to finding a double major in Mathematics and English, with a minor in education - everything seemed to flow with a boring steadiness. Boys were hardly an issue, her mind much to focused on her studies and her participation on the college cheerleading team. Friends came and went, most people not understanding her which of course in general made her home sick. She was rather alone for the first two years, living in an uneventful world... that is till the beginning of her third year.
 Bryant McCauly was just a boy from online. They talked in university forums once or twice, him always being a rather flirty gentlemen and her always begin a little shy of him. On a whole, she had no clue who he was and was willing to leave it like that. He would be a distraction after all from her studies, her studies that she was attempting to finish six months in advance, wanting her bachelors in three years time to three and a half years time instead of four years and beyond, having already made her mind up to become a Math teacher or English teacher for public education. However, the more they talked, the more she found herself curious about the young man. What did he look like? What did his voice sound like? Where was he? Had she seen him around before? The questions began to plague her, driving her nuts till she finally found courage in herself and sought him out.
Meeting him was the beginning of the end. From day one, Caroline knew there was no one else in the world for her. Though things weren't what people usually would consider conventional (since he was in a wheelchair, permanently paralyzed), Caroline knew they could work. Persistent and addicted, she began hanging around, doing everything in her power to drive him absolutely mad about her. And it seemed to work, the two easily in love after only a two month period of knowing each other, absolutely crazy when around each other.
The next few months went rather fast. Knowing they couldn't be without each other, the two took thanks giving weekend to drive out to a B & B where they got married. By the time January rolled around, they had transferred into a dorm room together, living together well both speed through their studies, miraculously being able to graduate together.
Married now for almost 6 years, they recently moved to Houston, TX to pursue careers in their chosen fields from college. Though money is tight and the situation isn't idea in most peoples minds, the two have never been happier and don't plan to change a thing. They know marriage isn't easy and will take work but both are willing to put in the effort... especially Caroline who is already considering ways to talk her husband into having several children.
Currently Caroline is a math teacher and cheerleading coach. She enjoys doing the things a wife does such as grocery shopping, making dinners, and doing the laundry. She is still in contact with her brother Michael and her sister Rosalynn. She speaks to her father on occasion but on a whole the old man is distant. As for Nathan and Quade? Well after Nathan's past stunts she hopes to never see him again. Quade she hears from once in awhile but she knows her brother could care less so she doesn't bother. She's happy to be married and hopes to have a nice normal family soon. Aka she stopped taking birth control about a year ago. |
